This page explains what cookies prosolve.uk sets, why, and how you can control them. We aim to use as few cookies as possible and only those that serve a clear purpose.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. Cookies help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, to make your next visit easier.
Cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| prosolve_cookie_consent | prosolve.uk | Stores your cookie consent choice so we do not ask again on every visit. | Strictly necessary | Until cleared |
| _vercel_analytics | Vercel (vercel.com) | Anonymised page-view analytics. No personal data is stored. Used to understand how visitors use the site. Only loaded after you accept. | Analytics | Session |
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or any third-party tracking cookies. Payments are processed on myprosolve.co.uk(via Stripe) — that domain's own cookie policy applies when you proceed to checkout.
Third-party services that receive data
The following services receive data when you use this site:
- Vercel Inc.— our hosting provider. Your IP address and request metadata pass through Vercel's infrastructure with every page load. Vercel is located in the United States; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and UK adequacy regulations. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Vercel Analytics — anonymised, aggregated page-view statistics. Only loaded after you accept analytics cookies.
- Web3Forms— our form-submission service. When you submit a contact or job-application form, the data you enter is sent to Web3Forms' servers to be forwarded to our mailboxes. No cookies are set by Web3Forms. Privacy policy: web3forms.com/privacy.
- Vercel Blob— used to store CV files uploaded through job-application forms. Files are stored in Vercel's infrastructure and are not publicly accessible.
- Google Maps— the map on our contact page is only loaded after you click "Load map". Until then, no data is sent to Google. If you load the map, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Fonts (Geist)— fonts are self-hosted at build time by Next.js. No request is made to Google's servers at runtime; no Google cookies are set.
- Stripe / myprosolve.co.uk— payments are processed on myprosolve.co.uk. When you click a "Buy now" link you leave prosolve.uk entirely. Stripe's own privacy policy and cookies apply from that point.
Change your cookie choice
You can withdraw your consent or change your analytics preference at any time. Clicking the button below will clear your saved choice and return you to the homepage, where the cookie banner will reappear.
Browser controls
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Note that disabling the strictly-necessary consent cookie will mean the banner reappears on every visit.
